The PicoGensis is derived from its English “PICO second.” It stands for one trillionth of a second (0.000000000001 second), indicating that the laser energy is output in an extremely short period of time. This results in a bursting force that is significantly more powerful than traditional nanosecond lasers.
PicoGensis by enLIGHTen has received US FDA certification. It utilizes a revolutionary dual-wavelength (1064nm and 532nm) and dual-pulse width design, which is more suitable for Asian skin than the first-generation picosecond lasers.
